In her semifinal, Puckett, 60, who was born in Australia, grabbed a 3-up lead after nine holes against two-time defending champion Lang, of Weston, Fla., and held on for a 1-up victory. The Jamaican-born Lang was vying to become the sixth player to win the Senior Women’s Amateur three times after winning in 2005 and 2006.
